About Us

Kevin Broger - Founder and President

Kevin is a veteran oil and gas explorationist with over 28 years of technical and managerial experience. He is a geoscientist with both geological and geophysical interpretive backgrounds, and extensive international experience primarily in offshore exploration within the sedimentary basins of Brazil and Africa. Kevin has previously held the positions of CEO HRT Canada, CEO of Chariot Oil and Gas, and Team Lead of Brazilian New Ventures for EnCana, (a leading Canadian oil and natural gas producer).

In Namibia, Kevin has direct experience in the Namibe, Walvis, Luderitz and Orange Basins, and has gained considerable experience evaluating South Atlantic margin hydrocarbon systems.

In Brazil, Kevin has extensive and successful experience working in the offshore Basins of Brazil. Kevin's experience with EnCana included the acquisition of acreage in Campos basin which ultimately ended in the appraisal discovery of Peregrino Field, as well as growing the Brazilian asset base of EnCana to 10 additional offshore blocks with partners including Petrobras, Galp, Devon, SK and Anadarko. These blocks have since yielded the Wahoo pre- salt discovery in Campos basin and the Barra / Farfan discoveries in Sergipe-Alagoas.

Kevin graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science (honours) degree in Geology with a minor degree in Economics. He has published and presented multiple technical pieces focused on petroleum system exploration and development.

 

Todd MacEacheron - GIS Project Architect & Sales Manager

Todd is a Senior Exploration Technologist with diverse technical skills in geoscience, GIS, and data management . He has over 15 years of frontier and international experience primarily in exploration within the sedimentary basins of South America, Africa and Eastern Europe.

Prior to Out Front Of The Curve he held positions with Iskander Energy, HRT Canada, Winstar Resources, and Encana

Todd is a graduate of the Exploration Information Technology program at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology
